A Record of a motorcycle trip

We have just returned from a memorable motorcycle ride to Spain and Portugal.

Here some highlights of the trip: it is hard to separate the experience from witnessing it as an observer, but next year the experience will be recording the trip.

In the mean time….

A fine busy port with an attractive approach. The large buildings I believe are hotels. We did not stay long enough: one busy town is the same as the next busy town.

We stopped for a coffee at the door of the Natural Reserve Ponga having followed the river along side the Picos de Europa.

We stopped at Medina de Rio Seco. We rode all day along the fertile plains of Castilla y Leon: wheat and other cereals as far as the eye could see, surrounded by distant bluish  peaks.

A village as many others

Here’s an example of a village like hundreds on the plains of Castilla y Leon, with the morning sun as a backdrop.

  1. Beautiful photos! 😀 So many different sceneries, it looks like an amazing place to explore with a motorcycle!

  2. The experience of motorcycling or the recording of it, that was the question. Next time the experience will be the recording of it…

  3. Great photos Mydad. You fixed the bug then in comments field.
